In December 2020, as part of a new collaboration between Takara Tomy, a toy manufacturer headquartered in Katsushika District, and the district itself, manhole covers featuring designs of "Licca-chan" and "TOMICA" were put in place.
The designs include iris flowers from Horikiri Iris Garden, which are best viewed in June, among three varieties each for "Licca-chan" and "TOMICA," installed at six locations throughout the district.
Exploring Katsushika while searching for these charmingly designed manhole covers is recommended.
