Exploring Yashio City's Deep Connection with Water

This facility serves as a regional archive, museum, and cultural heritage center. It allows visitors to observe and study the historical development of the area, collect and preserve local materials, and utilize these resources for educational purposes.
The permanent exhibit highlights the theme "Water and Life," showcasing the historical relationship between Yashio City and water. Visitors can also view the "Former Fujinami Residence," a large historic home designated as a tangible cultural property of Yashio City, which was built in 1876 and relocated to the museum grounds.
