A Symbol of the City

This park, directly connected to Yashio Station, opened in April 2015 and spans approximately 1.4 hectares. The concept is to design hills on the flat terrain of Yashio, creating a space that characterizes the face of Yashio City while establishing an open garden ("everyone's garden") with facilities that serve as a hub for various leisure activities for its citizens.
The park features seven unique plazas for visitors to enjoy and also functions as a temporary evacuation site in the event of a disaster. At the center of the park is a symbolic mound, which serves as a playground for children.
