Kannon-numa Forest Park is a lush natural park that is part of Nikko National Park. Located at an elevation of around 700 meters, the park is surrounded by forests and a marsh, providing a tranquil space for nature walks and seasonal scenery.
At the heart of the park is Kannon-numa Pond, encircled by well-maintained walking trails. Even beginners can easily enjoy a nature walk here. The shortest loop takes about 30 to 40 minutes, with benches and viewing decks along the way for scenic breaks.
The park is especially popular in autumn, when colorful foliage reflects on the pond’s surface, creating a breathtaking view. Spring’s fresh greenery and the deep green of summer also attract many photography enthusiasts.
Facilities such as restrooms and a parking lot are available, making it a comfortable destination for families. Admission is free.
