Commonly known as "Arigato Station" (Thank You Station)

This is the next station after Gomen Station on the Gomen-Nahari Line.
It was nicknamed "Arigato Station" following a suggestion by Takashi Yanase, who said, "Gomen Station and Gomenmachi Station are confusing, so let's make the next station after Gomen Station 'Arigato Station' (Thank You Station)."
Within the station grounds, you'll find a statue of "Gomenmachiko-san," the station's character designed by Mr. Yanase, as well as a monument with his handwritten lyrics and the "Gomen Ginger Jizo" statue, also designed by him.
Created with prayers for "good health," "freedom from illness," "traffic safety," and "boundless energy," the Gomen Ginger Jizo is said to soothe the thorns in your heart with the word "gomen" (sorry).
