Benches featuring Anpanman and his friends line the park
This park was developed on the former site of "Yanase Clinic (internal medicine and pediatrics)," run by the uncle of Takashi Yanase, where he spent his boyhood from the age of 2 until 18.
The building has since been demolished, and the park is now covered in lawn.
Inside the park, you'll find benches with characters from Anpanman, perfect for taking commemorative photos!
There is also a signboard with Mr. Yanase's profile and his poem "Doshin-zan no Yuuyake" (Sunset on Mt. Doshin), which recounts memories with his younger brother, Chihiro.
