A symbol of Ikeda Town where you can learn the pioneering story of Tokachi and wine.

The official name of “Wine Castle” is the Ikeda Town Grape & Wine Research Institute.
The structure resembles a medieval European castle and thus came to be affectionately called “Wine Castle”.
In the underground cellar, French oak barrels and vintage wines quietly mature.
The first floor has a shopping area where you can buy Tokachi Wine and other local products, and there is a restaurant on the fourth floor.
The Wine Castle offers plenty to enjoy.
