A hidden spot pairing a three-tiered waterfall with a Meiji-era zigzag forest road.

Narutaki is a three-tiered waterfall about 30 meters high.
Its name, meaning “resounding falls,” is said to come from the sound that once carried to a hamlet about 2 km away.
Nearby, the Yogo Forest Road “Nanamagari” is a stone-paved zigzag forest road built in the Meiji era to overcome an elevation change of around 30 meters.
Much of its original form remains, and it has been recognized as a Selected Civil Engineering Heritage by the Japan Society of Civil Engineers.
The area is a tranquil “power spot,” ideal for quiet walks and photos.
