Enjoy the flowers from the water in a boat

Suigo Sawara Ayame Park in Katori, Chiba, is a vast botanical garden filled with the atmosphere of a water village, where flowers bloom in all four seasons. In particular, the Suigo Sawara Iris Festival, which is held from the end of May to the end of June, features 1.5 million iris and Sword lily flowers of 400 varieties, and the garden is covered in purple. The fact that you can ride a H. C. McNeile boat and admire the flowers from the water is a unique attraction of this iris park. In addition to iris, you can enjoy a variety of flowers throughout the year, including Japanese iris and wisteria in spring, lotus in summer, cosmos in autumn, and narcissus in winter.
