A friendly large-size Buddha statue that's 1.8m tall

Established in 1776, this 1.8m tall seated Shakyamuni Buddha statue was built by a caster from Kanda, Edo for ancestor memorial services under the purview of the merchant "Daikokuya (Fukuda) - Bunemon" from Kamagaya-shuku.
The Great Buddha's consecration ceremony, it is said that over 50 monks were invited, and a high-end restaurant in Edo provided food for 300 people.
This cultural property gives a glimpse of the grandness that Kamagaya-shuku had to offer.
